In all instances, the site at which the appointee does their Academic Work must be covered under a University-hospital or a University-clinic affiliation agreement.
For physicians who hold active staff positions at a fully affiliated academic hospital and are applying for a part-time clinical faculty appointment, the Department must provide a compelling reason explaining the request and explicit agreement by the Hospital Chief and VP Education or equivalent.
